Program Director for Adult Services

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or Behavioral Science. Licensure required. Has at least 3 years relevant clinical experience in the field of mental health. Experience in counseling individuals, families and groups, with emphasis on seriously emotionally disturbed children. Licensed Professional Counselor with three years supervision experience.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Knowledge of community mental health. Knowledge of community resources within catchment area. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will be based in Pike County. This requires direct supervision for adult staff in Pike, Bullock and Macon Counties. Coordination of outpatient services to include but not be limited to individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, emergency services, In-Home, respite, etc.; routine coordination of services between other community resources/agencies/school systems; and, availability to represent agency at local community functions. Some after hours may be needed.
