East Central Mental Health provides treatment for individuals with a substance abuse diagnosis. East Central Mental Health offers an Intensive Outpatient Program in Troy. The facility is open from 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Primary program activities are conducted from 5:30p.m. to 8:30p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings. There is a daytime program operational on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 1:00p.m. to 3:30p.m. A separate continuing care group meets on Monday from 7:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. and Thursday from 1:00p.m. to 3:30p.m.
Substance Abuse Services
Services are designed to meet each client’s needs and goals to include, as needed:
On going monitoring and regularly home assignments
Family Therapy, as appropriate
Referrals to inpatient treatment, as needed
East Central Mental Health will give preference in admission to individuals with substance use disorders in the following priority:
- Pregnant women IV users.
- Pregnant women with substance use disorders.
- All other IV users.
- Women with depdendent children.
- Individuals who are HIV positive.
- All other individuals with substance use disorders.
